Researchers at the Technical University of Denmark developed a method to detect low-energy glass cracks in PV modules using daylight electroluminescence (EL) imaging. The technique uses camera motion and sunlight reflections to make cracks visible in EL images. The method was validated through laboratory tests and drone inspections.
