"Researchers identified a new species of tiny blue octopus, Microeledone galapagensis, near Darwin Island. The discovery was made using an ROV at a depth of 1,773 meters during a 2015 expedition. Scientists used non-destructive micro CT scanning to classify the species without dissecting the single available specimen."
