"Researchers identified a new species of walking shark, Hemiscyllium dudgeonae, in Milne Bay, Papua New Guinea. The species is distinguished by unique white stripes and brown spots, differing from other known walking sharks. Genetic analysis confirmed it as the tenth species in the Hemiscyllium genus."
