"Six First Nations and the Canadian government signed an agreement to protect coastal waters in B.C. The new reserve, 'Mia-yaltwa Ha’lidzogm hoon', is part of a $3.8-billion nature strategy. Commercial and recreational fishing will continue, but bottom trawling will be banned. The initiative is part of the Great Bear Sea Marine Protected Area Network."
