"The UK Antarctic Heritage Trust (UKAHT) proposes making the Endurance wreck site an Antarctic specially protected area. Climate change and increased shipping activity threaten the wreck's preservation. The proposal was passed at a meeting in Hiroshima and awaits final approval from CCAMLR in September."
