Canada's CSE conducted disruptive cyberattacks against foreign criminals brokering fentanyl precursor chemicals. The operation was authorized by the Minister of National Defence and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. This is the first time the agency has publicly disclosed a completed offensive cyberoperation targeting the fentanyl supply chain.
