"Researchers in Finland found that exposure to prallethrin, a common insecticide in mosquito repellents, disorients bumblebees. Bees exposed to the repellent for 10-20 minutes showed significantly lower success in returning to their colonies. The findings challenge the assumption that consumer mosquito repellents are safe for pollinators."
