"The Israeli Supreme Court rejected an appeal by Dr. Hussam Abu Safia, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, who has been held for over 500 days without charge. He is being detained under the Unlawful Combatants Law in solitary confinement at Nafha Prison. Human rights organizations and his legal counsel report he is suffering from poor health and lack of medical care."
